Things I have learned recently...

I have some more advice to share:

1. If you are cooking easy mac in the microwave read the directions. The white powder stuff IS supposed to be in the noodles and helps them cook. If you pour out that powder the noodles do not cook as well.

2. When cooking with a skillet, keep the lid out by the stove, in case you have a fire you can put the lid on the skillet. If not use baking soda, NOT flour as flour is combustible.

3. If you have a MAC computer and programs automatically open when you start your computer right click on the icon in the dock, go to options and make sure there is not a check by open at login.

4. Even if you have a "self propelled" mower there still is a lever you have to push....

Oklahoma!

Last week i went down to Oklahoma to visit some of my family. It was a great visit. We got to go to our farm for one day, I helped put back all the nick-knacks after my grandparents got new carpet, and got to do a lot of fun things. Here are some pictures from the farm.

PawPaw opening the gate to the farm.

A picture of the barn

In a few years this land will be in the family for 100 years!

Standing outside the barn door looking in. We have a house built inside part of the barn.

The great room.

Here is a picture of Dad and Diane's "new" puppy. They got her in December and she is only a few months old. She is going to be huge!

My Pawpaw built this clock. It has been in a shed at my dad's. He is going to have Pawpaw clean it up then it is mine :)

I came into town on Wednesday and the weekend before Pawpaw went to an auction and came home with fishing coolers and supplies. It takes up the third car garage. We know NOTHING about fishing. When I was down there we organized it and my dad took inventory. Hopefully he gets his money back!

Snow, Snow, Snow

Here are some pictures from the snow storms we had in February. We were hit twice with huge snow storms. And rumor has it we might be getting 1-3 inches of snow tomorrow!!
